How to do Wall Painting Designs Yourself

Compared to what comes out at the end of the DIY projects, the job is simple. All you need is the right wall paint colours, simple tools (like a sponge, comb, or strings), and precision. Sandy Beaches
Tools required:
Nerolac Primer + Putty, two paint colours, roller painter, paint tray, and thick string.
How to do wall painting designs yourself:
1. Paint the wall with Nerolac Primer + Putty and let it dry completely for about 6-8 hours.
2. Apply a base coat with your favourite colour, preferably a light shade. Let it dry for at least 15 minutes.
3. Take a roller painter and wind the thick string on it in a random manner.
4. Take another wall paint colour in the painting tray, preferably the darker shade.
5. Dip the roller in this paint, get rid of extra paint, and start painting the wall from top to bottom in a straight line.
6. Repeat the same for the entire wall. Let this simple wall painting design dry for several hours.
Velvety Sponge
Tools required:
Nerolac Primer + Putty, two paint colours, paint tray, soft sponge.
How to do wall painting designs yourself:
1. Paint the wall with Nerolac Primer + Putty and let it dry completely for about 6-8 hours.
2. Apply a base coat with your favourite colour. Let it dry for about 6-8 hours.
3. Now take a piece of sponge, hold it from one end, dip it in the second colour, cover the wall with circular or spiral patterns in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.
4. Cover the entire wall with these spiral patterns without leaving any space in between.
5. Let the paint dry for several hours.
Wavy Buzz
Tools required:
Nerolac Primer + Putty, two paint colours, roller painter, paint tray, and thin metal wire.
How to do wall painting designs yourself:
1. Prepare the wall with Nerolac Primer + Putty.
2. Wind thin metal wire on the roller painter in a spiral pattern.
3. Take both the colours in the paint tray. Spread them parallelly in the tray.
4. Dip the roller in the tray. Paint the wall by using the roller in your favourite direction. You can go liner top to bottom or side to side, or do something like concentric arcs.
5. Don’t leave any empty space in between. Make the patterns parallelly so that they look uniform.
6. Let the design dry for several hours.
Textured Bubbles
Tools required:
Nerolac Primer + Putty, a glitter paint colour, dark paint colour, roller painter, paint tray, bubble wrap, double-sided tape.
How to do wall painting designs yourself:
1. Paint the wall with Nerolac Primer + Putty and let it dry completely for about 6-8 hours.
2. Cut a sheet of bubble wrap in the size of the roller. Wrap the piece around the roller using double-sided tape.
3. Take some golden glitter paint in the paint tray.
4. Dip the roller with bubble wrap in it. Get rid of the extra paint.
5. Now paint the wall with this roller setting in one direction. Coat the entire wall with this paint. Let it dry for about 4-5 hours.
6. Now dip the roller in the second paint and repeat the same process. Make sure that this second coat is painted in the opposite direction of the first, glitter coat.
7. Let this DIY wall painting design dry for 4-5 hours.
Creative Mesh
Tools required:
Nerolac Primer + Putty, two paint colours, roller painter, combing tool.
How to do wall painting designs yourself:
1. Paint the wall with Nerolac Primer + Putty and let it dry completely for about 6-8 hours.
2. Apply a base coat with your favourite colour, preferably a light shade. Let it dry for about 6-8 hours.
3. Now apply the second coat, preferably the darker shade.
4. Right after painting, make ‘V’ or ‘W’ shaped patterns on the wall using the combing tool. Without leaving any empty space in between, cover the entire wall with this pattern.
5. Let this design dry for several hours. Your home wall will look nothing less than a stunning meshwork.
Using a hair comb in a vertical and horizontal pattern, you can also create a stylish denim-like accent wall in the same way.
Crushed Stamping
Tools required:
Nerolac Primer + Putty, two paint colours, roller painter, thick plastic bag.
How to do wall painting designs yourself:
1. Paint the wall with Nerolac Primer + Putty and let it dry completely for about 6-8 hours.
2. Apply a base coat with your favourite colour, preferably a very light shade. Let it dry for about 6-8 hours.
3. Now apply the second coat, preferably the darker shade.
4. Take the thick plastic bag and make a ball out of it. Right after painting, dab the plastic bag ball on the top coat gently.
5. Cover the wall with gentle stamping and let this simple wall painting design dry for several hours.
